My Humble Opinions of the 2011 Dallas Cowboys – G.M. and Coaches edition

Hello again. If you get to know me you learn pretty fast how big of a fan of the Dallas Cowboys I am. Been a fan since 1974, I was three. My children are now big fans as well, can’t live in my house and not be Cowboys fans.  Love the team. Love the city.

Now having said that, on to my opinions of the 2011 Dallas Cowboys. I will start at the top with the GM/owner, Jerry Jones.

Wrote this song years ago soon after I was married back when I was still gaga about marriage lol and still had hip hop dreams. It makes me chuckle reading it now its super LONG. lol Let me know what yall think of the writing would this have worked or been dismissed as lame? 

A Dreamer Just Died by Humble

A Dreamer just died and his last name wasnt King
This Dreamer wasnt even alive when Dr. King did his thing
Dr. King’s dream saw us all living together in peace
This Dreamer just wanted to see black on black violence cease
He also dreamed for the return of the MAN
Who gets a lady pregnant, then asks for that new Mother’s hand
But one day while the Dreamer was out tryin to change the world
He was shot three times by a confused gang bangin little girl
The Dreamer had enough strength to tell a person who came to help
That he wasnt sad about his impending death
For he knew that before we could heal the world
We must first heal the hood and save our little boys and girls

LOVE by Humble

What is love, what is love to me?
What in the world could love be
To me, love is something that can’t be explained
Because love to most people is not the same
When you think of good reasons to love someone
Maybe one would be, when you’re together you have so much fun
Another could be because you are so much alike
Or the love that you share when together at night
A bad reason to love would be
To love a person only physically
To love a person for what they have stashed
And all you do it take their cash
Some people even love on the run
Love and leave, they call it fun
No one should want to love like that
Usually when they do, their mind is out of whack
You should love a person because he or she is kind
Love them for what’s inside and what’s on their mind
Everyone should know when love is to stop
When you see a person and your heart no longer drops
You see to me when you see someone you love
Something inside you should start to buzz
When that feeling is no longer there
You should try to take your love elsewhere
But you can’t turn love off like that
That in itself is a proven fact
You have to realize that life goes on
And hope that soon another love comes along
To me love has a beginning but has no end
Love just changes from love of a mate to love of a friend
When you go into a relationship you should know the person’s past
Or else the love will start but the relationship won’t last
Before you know it he or she will be with a former love
And you will be left looking to the man above
To explain how you lost that special love
The love you thought was so right
But seemed to be over overnight
So to me love has many differences
I just explained many different instances
Love is something that can’t be explained
And I’ve found out these days, love is just a game
